ppc + mobile phone viewing

last night i thought i'd look at pm over my mobile and ipaq, and it is way too slow. The mobile site frontpage takes about 15 seconds to load, maybe more, because its got 3 or 4 pictures there, and they are each being squeezed down 1 kps of bandwidth. any chance of a mobile site without the pictures?
i realise i could just turn off graphics, but it looks messy.

join the long line of people who've been put out by the forums... Chris is going to work on it some point in the future. We've mentioned it a few times, and have offered our collective assitance.

There is a considerable amount of work required to convert them to a PPC friendly format.
Chris is working on it, but there is more to it than that. There is consideration for the method by which that conversion is made and such.
Meanwhile PM is in a state that it will be expanding, and this needs to be considered as well.

A bit of patience would go a long way.
