Explain how this NEW! thing works.

Whats the deal with this thing?

It will tell me something is new after i've posted to something personally (duh?), and then it randomly wont tell me something is new if somebody else has posted something new to it.

I can understand the new!s disappearing after a few days, in forums i dont care about too much, but some of these quirks just have to go; unless I'm missing something.

where did this problem crop up from?

PM1 never had this problem either.

I guess everything has a trade off.

I've had this same problem, but I fix it be refreshing / logging out and in again / or be closing IE and opening it again.

the old board logged the posts you've been too.. this one uses cookies instead....

I'll be implementing a new "new" system when i update the forums when phpBB 2.0 final is released...

i hate it when i see all the new posts in a forum and the IE window either crashes or i close it, then when i go back to that forum all the new's are gone even though i havent clicked on or viewed them.

After seeing your pics, Mr. Lovemonger-LadiesMan, I figured out why you chose the name Moose. I still can't, for the life of me, figure out why you chose Pam and Maggie. I suppose you sit at your computer and dress the part, too.
