I have a suggestion, i think How-To's kick ass, i really enjoy reading how to's even if they aren't ment for my ppc(like slimming the casio), as im sure others do too. So my suggestion is to get more how-to's, there just so lovable. That is if anyone cares about my suggestions.

well, we only have a few people for writing reviews/howtos... if you want to write a review or howto for pocketmatrix, we would post it on the site..... I should probably redo my video howto soon to update a few things...

when we get the new website up i'm going to write a series of howto's on developing webpages for the pocket pc.

What about skinning? Like the Today skin, or Gigabar. It seems to be simple (but not for me), and lots of people hear know how to do it. I'm cracking my head to do a simple Today screen, so it sure would be nice to read a how-to.

Are u looking at just replacing the image on your Today screen? Surely you know how to do that. Today's the Day plugin is better though than just the plain static Today image.

I like this picture, it's based on a skin that 999 made, back in the day.
Image

I was able to replace it with some dl's from the DeveloperOne site. I was intresting in making my own. There could be a how-to with everything covered (yes, it's REALLY basic, but I don't no squat), with programs needed, links to programs, etc.

Me? Codeing?
ROFL
It's easier for me to dye my hair. In my naiveté, I thought I would only need something like Corel to create an image. As usual, it wasn't so simple (but the instrauctions say: just make an image of 240x60 pixels and name it this way...).
I was looking foward to reading a walk-through like this:
1) Get Corel Draw (link)
2) Open the...
etc
IMO it would be useful to every newbie with a desire to customize. Maybe it could be a stepping stone to enroll somebody in the "informal" coding buisness.
I don't know.

You can save a .gif file in MS Paint. It would be so easy that way if you didn't have anything complex to do. ...as I do not have Corel.
