Have you considered changing the URL Icon to the PM Icon? Some sites, not a lot, but some, do this. It's pretty cool I think. ArsTechnica does it, and so do a few others that I frequent.

Must be DHTML, but I haven't a clue what the tags are to do it. I suppose I could look it up.

Just a thought.

Some sites, when you go to them, the IE icon in the URL box changes to something else. It also changes the icon if you make a shortcut to it. Ya know?

thats easy, you put the .ico in the same folder then put a line of html in the page - cant remember exactly what it is right now but its very very short.

Dang it I have to type this in again.

I got favicon working for my new website, but I have to actively do something to make it display in the Address bar. For example, bookmark the page or drag the icon in the Address bar. Only after that will it change to my custom icon.
Is it supposed to display automatically / passively, or like that?

BTW, don't drag the icon in the Address bar while you're entering a message, because it will clear what you've typed!

Dan East
