Summary
This position will be responsible for managing the creation of games, including scheduling, production, testing, and roll-out of the game.
Major Job Duties
The major functions of the job include:
• Analyze customer data and preferences to make decisions regarding new games
• Create project specifications regarding game development
• Maintain, publish, and coordinate development schedule
• Manage testing and bug fix process
• Communicate project status to management
• Maintain flexibility to assist with special projects, as needed
Skills and Experience Required
• At least three years experience as a project manager in a high-tech environment required
• Experience as a project manager in the gaming space preferred
• Experience as an engineer preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people, such as engineers and non-technical coworkers
• Ability to stay organized, meet strict deadlines, and exhibit great follow-through
• Ability to hold other people accountable through an indirect reporting relationship
• Must be detail-oriented
• Proficient in xxx software language and a quick learner for other computer software packages
Education Required
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• College degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred
• Project Management certificate and/or training preferred
