the new compiler treat the wchar_t as a built in type but to be compatible with the Hekkus dll you have to disable this new feature, so set the treat wchar_t as built-in to No (/Zc:wchar_t-)

I got Hekkus and GapiDraw 3.6 to work. Let me know if you still need help.

I have had no problems with Hekkus, GapiDraw 3.51 and VS2005. All appear to co-exist fine.

I really do not have a preference of Hekkus over FMOD in fact I have FMOD in my library too.

Reason for stating Hekkus, GapiDraw and VS2005 co-existance is only down to they were all stated earlier.
