It is my understanding that we can use the new VFS system as an alternative solution for image loading, instead of the current situation of loading bitmaps from resources. Of course it will remove the size constraints inherent with Palm resources.

My question is, will it be faster, or slower, or roughly the same performance as loading (e.g. 8bpp) bitmaps from resources?
