SE trouble in 3.01

Can you please try the "minimal" sample and see if that works on your X50.

I seem to remember that there might have been an issue with GAPI on the X50 when starting in landscape mode. So this might be an issue with the Dell handheld. Try some other games as well and see if they work.

GapiDraw 3.50 contains much improved support for Windows Mobile 2003 SE devices, including VGA resolution support, and works on all newer devices. At the moment we have no plans to transfer these changes to the 3.01 version.

Thanks Johan, I'll give the minimal example a try a little later. I realize that 3.5 is supposed to contain the VGA support and Im definitely considering a license, though you've priced your product so high that it makes it difficult to figure out if its cost effective even for a product that sat in Handango's Top 10 games for over a year(you really should release a game yourself so you understand the market more clearly).

And this makes it more difficult as now it appears there are no guarantees that any of your licenses will continue to work with future Operating Systems working in native modes of the OS. I can see the VGA part, but the SE landscape bug, whether only on one machine or not, probably should be addressed if it exists.


Anybody have any hacks that worked to fix these temporarily??
