VS2005 and gapidraw.dll

Hi,

I'm new with VS and gapidraw but I have already been able to setup everything and compile and run some example programs.

Now that I have everything ready I'm confused about something. In my debug and release folder I don't have the file gapidraw.dll however my program runs ok.

Why is that? Shouldn't that file exist? In my project I have all the right references to gapidraw.lib and includes, but I don't have the source code. I can even delete the folder GapiDraw36Eval\dll and everything works ok.

Where is the dll that the program is using?

I have also tried to add some sound using the Hekkus sound library. However, for this case I DO need to have the file hss.dll in my debug/release folders. Why? I'm doing the same thing that I was doing with Gapidraw.

Thanks a lot for any help
