Hi Dylan!
When we held the class last year we focused more on general Win32 programming and basically got into the games programming a bit later. Very similar to the book PocketPC Game Programming.
This year we will focus on more generic game design. I have a new version of the OpenTrek platform to be released as well, which is more streamlined and easier to work with. The new GapiDraw 1.03 has some cool features like a linear programming model introduced with the new CGapiApplication, and we will discuss how to take the best advantage of this as well (almost all other base classes use a basic single threaded event model requiring states everywhere).
All documentation for the class will be made available online. This includes tutorials, sample applications and lecture notes.
I may contact you if we need any 3D-help. By the way, checkout the release build of the new "Simple" demo for some cool animated alpha blended cursors...
