DMA copying on IPaq 3800
Posted: Sep 9, 2002 @ 3:11pmDoes anyone know if this library uses high speed copying techniques such as DMA transfer to get to the video memory on the iPaq 3800 series??? Any info much appreciated.

The reason is simple: the ARM devices use the in-processor video controller that works with system RAM (as opposed to dedicated video RAM). So in effect, there is no system to video RAM transfer to be performed.
