When I change the display mode and any other source surface doesn't match that mode the blits fail with an GDERR_INCOMPATIBLEPRIMARY error.
The problem is that my source surface I don't want to recreate, is there any easy method to handle this at will, like say a rotate? In other words some manual way to adjust the display mode on a surface by surface basis?
Also its possible that I don't even need to rotate the surface since there is no orientation, so is there a way for me to ignore incompatiable modes? The specific surface is a square much larger than any display, so I'm not sure what the real problem is.
Maybe there is some larger point that I am simply not aware of? Any help is appreciated.
