Dragon's Breed on XScale

Dragon's Breed on XScale

Postby cryo » Dec 12, 2002 @ 2:29pm

Hi,

we are experiencing performance issues when running Dragon's Breed on an iPAQ 3970, and think it might be related to the XScale processor.

If you have a non-iPAQ, XScale based device, could you please get the demo, run it and give us a short feedback? You can download the demo here:

thank you in advance

After my Dell charges again, I will play until I get the error message and let you know when I get it, and what it says.

The speed is great and so is the music. OK, I got the error just while I was sending my dragons to fight towns. Here is what it says:

Fatal Application Error
Application DragonsBreed.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.

Program:
DragonsBreed.exe
Exception: Oxc0000005
Address: 000258b4

Is there any new information on Dragon's Breed? If there are updates, how can I get them? When I got my first copy, I had to go to an ftp site to download, which is not there anymore. Will I be notified of updates?

Raynne,

we are working on fixing the bug you mentioned and other problems related to XScale-specific issues. As soon as this new version is given out to the distributors, you will be contacted with instructions on how to get the update.

This week not much happened since people were out for christmas vacations, but we hope to have the update ready by the first days of January.
