There are a few reasons I do not provide a link on the DEXplor website to Pocket Gear:
They were supposed to provide a method for customers to enter the DEXplor ID at purchase time months ago. That still is not in place. I have to manually email all customers that purchase through Pocket Gear so they can manually email me their ID. Since they are emailing it, it is not validated when they enter it (like it is on the DEXplor website), so if they enter anything wrong, there is the delay of another round of emails before they get their key.
It usually takes a few days to get any response from Pocket Gear support, and I have a few emails that were never answered at all. I have provided customer support for DEXplor 7 days a week, practically 24 hours a day (yes, when my 2 year old wakes me up at 4 AM I check my email). I provide that level of service, I expect it in return, especially considering how much of my sales revenue they keep.
Finally, they charge me 4 times more than PayPal to process a transaction, and after all that I only get reimbursed for my sales once a month. With PayPal I can withdrawl the funds immediately directly to my bank accounts.
I am seeking a better online payment system. Preferably one that doesn't reap 20% of the profits for processing a credit card order that costs them 3%. When I find it I will list it as an alternative to PayPal on the DEXplor website.
