PocketMatrix

Hey all.

I'm trying to access the camera on Windows Mobile 5.0 devices. There is the standard SHCameraShell call but it truly sucks as I don't want an application to popup each time I want to aquire a camera image. I can't do Direct Media mobile as there is no support on SmartPhones.

Anyone ever find a good way to do this?

There is DirectShow Mobile on Windows Mobile Smartphones same as there is for PocketPCs...

Still DirectShow on Windows Mobile is a mess - mainly due to bad OEM implementations if the filters (at least that's what I guess).
