Dear developers,

We are pleased to announce in collaboration with Chillingo Ltd. the addition of m-payment solution ClickPayGo(tm) to the upcoming release of our multi-platform mobile game engine Edge SDK version 2.70.

ClickPayGo is an innovative mobile billing and payment system that allows customers to shop for content directly over their mobile phones and fixed line devices through a one-click payment mechanism. Customers sign up for a ClickPayGo electronic wallet and top up their accounts through credit/debit cards or topup scratchcards available through retail stores. ClickPayGo contains customer relationship management and community relationship management features, and fully integrates with the underlying content management and delivery platform of Chillingo's Value Capture Platform(tm) (VCP).

ClickPayGo supports traditional e-commerce and m-commerce payments (all major credit cards, PayPal, Moneybookers, premium sms) as well as micropayments. The ClickPayGo micropayment API allows content developers to create direct one-click billing and payment functionality within their applications. Flexible and fully configurable tariffing functionality allow developers to create their own microtransactions based pricing strategies.

The inclusion of the ClickPayGo API enable Edge developers to create innovative content that can generate revenue throughout the life cycle of the content, as opposed to current one-off payment or subscription billing models. The security model of ClickPayGo's micropayment API is based on public key infrastructure which provides maximum protection against fraud and malicious use.

Other additions of Edge 2.70, scheduled for release late July 2006, include a new, feature-rich input class, extensive settings of default key mappings for a broad range of devices and other improvements and bugfixes.
