Hi Edge,

I'm trying to find and connect other bluetooth device with SearchWireless but it doesn't work, unless the other device run edge aplication and configured as Server.
For example, i tried with two phones. The first phone try to search the second. When the second phone run Edge application and configured as Server then the first was able to find and connect.
The problem is with other devices such as GPS. I can't see any GPS that is not configured with client Service.

Thanks for your Help!

Hi Mimispa,

Currently it's not possible to find bluetooth devices not running the Edge server. I understand this can be a problem for GPS devices.

Can you tell me if you're able to locate services on this device using the bluetooth configuration in Windows? Does it advertise a serial port?

Hi Edge,

I have already test the connection. I connected the device to PC and receive data with hyperterminal. It's no need to send data because that kind of devices (GPS) only send data.

I want to informe you that Edge works perfect with gps devices with Client Serial Port Service.

I'll wait for your news!

Thanks for your Help!

Please notice in my previous reply, that only devices with Client Serial Port Service works fine.
The problem still exist with other devices.

Thanks!
