Issues with VC++ 2005, EdgeLib 3.00, and Motorola Q

Postby Mad Dugan » Apr 28, 2007 @ 11:30pm

Using VC++ 2005 and EdgeLib 3.00 evaluation SDK, I am unable to get the 'Hello World' sample to show the same results on both a PC versus smartphone emulator (or actual smartphone). They all show the evaluation banner, but only the PC version displays the text output found in ClassMain::OnNextFrame function. i.e. "Button/Stylus: Quit"

I am also unable to get anything to displayed using the Motorola Q emulator, though I can at least get the evaluation banner to display on real hardware (modifying width, height, and emulvideotype for both).

Any suggestions, Thanks.

Hi Mad Dugan,

We ran a number of tests on the Smartphone QVGA emulator and everything runs correctly.

Could you try the pre-compiled executable on your emulator? Also, would you mind to try one of our games (for example Quartz 2: http://www.elementsgames.com/quartz2) on your emulator?

Can you tell me which Windows Mobile SDK and what version of EDGELIB you use?
