Minimize / Restore application

I have a problem with my application that is always on screen, and do not minimize while focus is lost (even when config->focusminimize = true;).
When the phone lights off (after no use for a while for instance), I have to light it on. Then it asks me a password, but I can't access this screen, because the application is on top, and I have to reset
How can I minimize the application ? How can I have it minimizing automatically while focus is lost ?
