Elements Interactive B.V. releases version 3.50 of multi-platform mobile game engine EDGELIB. This service release adds a number of mathematical functions to the SDK and fixes a blocking bug related to the native XML parsers.
EDGELIB 3.50 adds functions to the math class for inverted cosine, inverted sine and inverted tangent calculations. An additional function calculates the direction angle based on object distances. These trigonometric functions, related to angle calculations, are used in 3D programming.
The 3.50 release also fixes a major bug introduced in 3.40 making the the XML and XML-RPC classes inaccessible. A complete list of additions and bugfixes can be found in the release history at .
EDGELIB licensees are entitled to download and install the commercial version of the new EDGELIB SDK. An evaluation version can be downloaded for free as well.
