New iPhone TOS, what does it mean?

New iphone TOS:
"Applications that link to Documented APIs through an intermediary translation or compatibility layer or tool are prohibited."

Does this mean you can only now create apps using objective c purely?

Is edgelib considered a intermediary translation or compatibility layer?

If so that would really suck.

Hi,

We think there is little to worry about, EDGELIB currently uses no scripting languages and it would be pretty hard to know EDGELIB is actually used (unless you know what you're looking for).
