Elements Interactive Mobile B.V. releases version 3.987 of multi-platform middleware solution EDGELIB adding support for iPhone 4.
Version 3.987 introduces support for Apple iOS 4 to EDGELIB, including support for the iPhone 4 high resolution display. The possibility to read the battery status on iOS devices is also added. Further enhancements include support for background operations on Symbian S60 platforms, an additional option to use read-only paths for several file functions and a new random function using the Mersenne twister algorithm.
Minor improvements include a fix for SetFontDefaultChar, enhancements of GetDeviceName on iOS devices, a fix to respect maxfps while minimized and improved key release handling in the input class. This version also includes EDGELIB Builder beta 15, which addresses the issue of a limited amount of characters in output window.
