Sorry, have no solution for you, but same Problem on Toshi 800..

Seems to have reason in VGA or GFX processing... :x

There should be a new version of PocketQuake soon that fixes ONLY this bug.

E800 S.E WORKAROUND

PQ runs on E800 with a hack called SE VGA installed and running in QVGA mode, The HP 4705 does not support the QVGA mode at all yet. SE vga is available on pocketgear.com and is free, search for vga.. enjoy
