Landscape mode for Quakes make display white (Mitac MioA701)

Postby igorjirkov » Oct 8, 2007 @ 4:50pm

Hello.

I've got a problem with both Quake Mobile (1,2). If I select landscape mode right or left in menu device doesn't become freeze but the display becomes white. It may take up to half minute - firstly each two line of display becomes white then the rest too. If I press UP/DOWN I hear a loud sound that is always played when I select an item in menu.

My device is Mitac Mio A701, Quake is installed in Storage Card; portrait mode works without lags.

I hope my bad english was suffisent to describe my problem, sorry for it :(

That's pretty strange how the screen fades to white. Does the device lock up completely, requiring a reset?

as I said, the device doesn't lock up completely I can still navigate over menu (I press up/down and a hear a loud sound that is always played when I select an item of menu). But the screen becomes totally impossible to work with, untill a soft reset.
