Hey there GameFreaks!

I am new to the board, but I also have a MobilePro 770. (NEC)

And I am curious of the status of your hpc doom?

Also curious of status of hpc quake?

I would be more than willing to help you out with testing and debugging if you like... (If you send source code I will even do debugging here with it, I have ms Embedded Visual Tools, so I can compile and debug on device.)

If you want to email me, or get me on msn, my msn id is: glasswlkr@hotmail.com and my email is glasswalker@iam-net.com

Thanks

PocketQuake don´t work

Postby enjoy » Jun 21, 2003 @ 5:08pm

Dear PocketQuake Coders...

My PocketQuake (H/PC 2000) don´t work because BitBank GAPI is an icompatibility library in europeans devices... ONLY work when I do a Hard-reset but aster this if I do a sof-reset,PocketQuake won´t work!

I found the problem with the GAPI: the PocketQuake uses a old pseudo GAPI library from www.bitbanksoftware.com. This pseudo GAPI is not compatible with my european device (its a static library not a dynamic) with the GAPI PPC- standard.

The solution: give the programers of the PocketQuake a hint to use the GX.LIB and GX.DLL for the HP720 from www.WinCESoft.de

Please !!!!!
Bitbank GAPI don´t work in europeans devices !!!!!

There are four main problems with the pseudo GAPI from www.bitbanksoftware.com which is used in BitBank GAPI Applications too:
1. bitbanksoftware does not use a external GX.DLL. The GAPI functions are included in the game or program itself. So the game could only run on devices that bitbanksoftware has included in this pseudo GAPI. (US- HP 720, 680, NEC Mobile pro, 8262, Intermec Raptor)
2. the bitbank solution costs money.
3. the bitbank bother you with a nag screen (This is a Trial version... bla bla).
4. the bitbank GAPI is not GAPI compatible and is only created for the US version of the Jornada 720 (except with the option -fixvid with HPC Doom)

PLEASE HELP ME
