On appliances greeting me...

On appliances greeting me...

Postby RICoder » Dec 5, 2005 @ 9:14pm

Perhaps it is just today or my mood...but I realized that almost every electronic component in my house now greets me when I turn it on. Sometimes it is "Hello" sometimes it is "Welcome to <insert technology> World!"

Seriously, does my tv or coffee pot need to say hello to me?

Yeah, my computer has the standard Windows XP tune at boot up...
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

My doors sigh with delight whenever I open them, usually saying something about how great it was to open for me..

How awful..
