You're right, I checked it out on the and it's 8 - 1/2,000 sec.. No idea what that means exactly, as most other shutter times I've seen is displayed in 1/5000 or 1/8000 or the like.

Oh, and it does have special stabilization in it :).

I'm actually checking out some other cameras, more towards the semi-pro direction, as I want to do more with photography. You've got knowledge about camera's, right? Can you help me out a bit? I'm looking for a good high quality and above all fast camera, but price shouldn't be too dramatic. The Canon EOS 350D looks nice, but what's your opinion?

Hmmm... I think they commonly refer to this as "thread hijacking".

Personally I dont really understand the whole camera fetish, I use one of these little suckers, its small, convenient and the picture quality is more than enough for my needs (but best of all I got it for dirt cheap). Of course I'm no professional photographer, as that would be the only reason I'd get anything better. Definately not going to lug around some huge camera from the 60s-70s. But to each his own, just thought I'd post my 2 cents since this is/was my thread. :cry:
