Anyone think or know that Elder Scrolls will be ported to mac?

Almost certainly not considering the fact its a xbox360 title (I bet somewhere in the agreement it says no mac/linux) and that it relies too heavily on D3D. Porting it would be a huge hassle and they already have their hands full with the PC community complaining about low performance.

That, plus the fact that Macs usually are far from power-houses, when it comes to gaming. That aside, if they used the Havok engine, there's no way to actually port the game to mac. Unless you, of course, use another physics engine, but I doubt that'll happen ;).

Good point about havok. Also, I doubt speedtree (used for all their plants/foliage in game) is available on macs.

Ah well, any mac user knows that it's not made for gaming anyway ;).

Just started playing it Saturday... It seems much more playable than Morrowind was. I never got very far in that one.

So far I've closed the Kvatch Oblivion Gate, obtained the four books from Mythic Dawn, and I'm 2-3 recommendations away from joining the Arcane University.

That's after about 11 hrs of play, and it's only crashed on me once. :)
