I'm not Nietzschean, so I don't hold that all desires are natural simply because one experiences them.

If you have the desire without affects of drugs how can it not be natural? I don't understand your definition of natural.

Lol, "nicely stated"? Why, because Brig makes the assumption that my point of view is religious? I guess so, yeah. Nice arguing from conclusion down to assumption, as you so nicely stated.

All of the homosexual individuals I know have told me that they're also attracted to the opposite sex, but chose to become homosexual, probably because it gave them an in group to hang out with and friends they could share something with. Kind of like a fraternity or sorority. If one chooses you and says they want you to join, you're not going to want to turn them down because you want that friendship too. The homosexual groups in my school tried to turn me gay by inviting me to gay night clubs and events such as that. Other people took up the offer. I politely refused but thanked them for the offer. Now I'm engaged to be married to a woman. My other guy friends that decided to go along all have boyfriends, now.
That's the way it's always played out when it comes to the many people I know that claim to be homosexual. If someone is actually and truly attracted to another person of the same sex, good for them, but I find it disgusting because it's not what I would want to do. Why not respect the fact that it's not what I find normal? I respect the fact that it's what other people want to do. They don't have to tell me about it, though. I don't run around talking about my sex life.

I knew you'd all pick up on the turning gay thing. It wasn't personal paranoia on my part, though. It was what they said they were trying to do. They decided they needed to release my inner homosexual. Apparently everyone is gay and they need another gay person to help them be released.

I'm not against gays marrying. I'm against the state recognizing it. I don't see why a state should be involved in marriage.
