So I'm thinking about studying abroad this semester, and I've narrowed the choices down to the following concise list:
(1) Ultrecht in the Netherlands. Broad program with lots of possible classes, many of them interesting. There's an honors program, too, which sounds cool. I hear Ultrecht is a nice place, and that the Dutch are a good people. Any input?
(2) Prague. Cool city, but unfortunately classes are limited to Czech history, culture, art, etc. Not that interesting.
(3) Barcelona. The problem is that I'd have to do some garbage program through a school other than mine, and I want to take some interesting classes while I'm abroad as opposed to spending 100% of my time at the discotecas. This one might be tough.
(4) Florence honors summer program. We'd stay in a villa that's a national monument in Italy (for something to be a national monument in Italy, it has to be incredibly beautiful). Ideally I'd be able to do both Ultrecht and this in one year, but since the Ultrecht program goes into early July, it's looking grim (I don't know when the Italy program runs).
Thoughts?
