I took 1st place in a Combat Grappling tournament !

I competed again at a Combat Grappling Tournament hosted at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
This time around the heavy weight division had to compete round robin style rather than a double elimination format. That ment I had to Grapple with all 5 other opponents. It was tiring and demanding but I was able to win all 5 matches and win with chokes into submission!
The best part for me was being able to compete with the soldiers as a civilian. I was the only non soldier there (though I had to wear a uniform to compete).
Check out 2 of my matches.

I competed last time and made it to 4th place and it was a struggle. I had taken some Brazilian Jiu Jitsu clases and it paid off big.
If anyone has a desire to chase a dream, or just something you may want to try go for it! You might surprize yourself with the results.
