Two cupcakes were in an oven. One turned to the other and said "Damn, it sure is hot in here" and the other one said "HOLY SHIT! A TALKING CUPCAKE!"

Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Stars are good.

Turin Breaks
The Fray
Snow Patrol (saw them live in NYC a few weekends ago--kickass)
Stars of Track and Field (awesome)
Rachael Yamagata

Those are my top 5 for now.

I've been listening to more and more radio these days. Virgin Radio is really good, unfortunately it doesn't broadcast on FM but you can pick it up on DVB or the internet.

The last few tracks played are:

The Kooks
Razorlight
The Eagles
The Beautiful South (what?)
The Posies

I have ~140GB of music 'cos I share my music purchases with friends. I'm sure it's illegal but I like being able to think of a really obscure track and just playing it.
Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."

I've been listening to a lot of classical music recently -- Chopin, Beethoven, Brahms, and (more recent) Philip Glass.

As for new music: TV on the Radio, Sufjan Stevens, M. Ward, Mew.

I'm currently trying to decide whether I like The Hold Steady.
The fates lead him who will;
Him who won't, they drag.

The new TV on the Radio is one of the best albums of 2006.

Philip Glass is good.

I've been listening to Lupe Fiasco, Aphex Twin, She Wants Revenge, and Thom Yorke.

Really, I haven't been listening to very much music at all.

Speaking of music, here in DC, in one weekend in late October, I will be seeing The Rapture on Thursday, Spank Rock on Friday, and Girl Talk on Saturday. In seeing that, I'll also miss The National on Thursday and Lady Sovereign on Saturday. Probably the most ridiculous weekend in a while. My friends and I are calling it the weekend of debauchary and excess 2k6.
