Then change my point to the fact that Hillary if I recall (this was back in 2000, when I was 8th grade) was touting the whole unite NY thing, revitalizing the upstate towns, etc. Regardless of the power she has, I can't recall her doing one actual thing for NY. Granted, it's been a good 5 years since I've lived *in* the state, as opposed to next to it, but I can't say I'm entirely thrilled with the way things are.

Specifically, I remember the calls of bringing in new jobs to upstate NY. That hasn't happened. That, and all her shit about GTA. Granted, it's been a while, and I'm mostly trying to remember what I can from 8th grade.

It'll be a while longer before Obama's politics as President are a bit clearer, though. I can certainly see that happening, but I'm not ready to dismiss him yet.

I fear the Obama phenomenon, but not Obama himself. It is scary that the masses are led so easily to follow a person that has absolutely no qualifications to be president, and no track record to show an agenda of any kind. The media is masturbating all over this guy daily, and it makes me ill.

Hilary...I say elect her...she will do to the Dems what Carter did in the 70s (even if everyone seems to have forgotten what a miserable failure he was).

I'm voting for Rudy. He's got the nads to say what he means and do what he says.

I don't know much about anyone of the candidates except Rudy. I got that book "The Prince of the City" (Fred Siegel) about him when I visited NY.
Seems like he's an honest guy. No "neocon" etiher it appears, which is good.
It would be interesting to see him as the next POTUS.

I like Rudy, I am voting for him in 2008 definetly.

He was a great mayor in New York, and even without 9/11 would have still been considered a great mayor by New Yorkers.

Bloomberg is also a great mayor, I wouldn't be surprised if he runs for president in the near future too. The only reason I don't see him getting to far is that he is jewish.

They both have a good amount of common sense in them... Something New York brings out about people.
