UML Tool (Java/ Windows)

UML Tool (Java/ Windows)

Postby BurningScrappy » Sep 28, 2002 @ 1:31am

Hello, Robert (burningScrappy) here.

I've been trying to contact Overloaded (what a dual meaning there huh  ) to get on board, not much luck, they are swamped with others trying to do the same. So I figured I could at least contribute here in the forum.

In anycase though, I've been developing two games using their library and am hoping to submit my games. Just wanted to pass on a couple of links to some UML tools that are !free! and have a nice interface. Also, they could provide a quick way for you to document larger/complex programs. (These have a habit of not getting finished and turning into spagehtti code when not properly organized).

Good luck:

They look nice (esp. the first one, presuming it runs on Linux :)) - thanks for the links :D

hehe, just had to post in here, it's your evil twin, BurningSheep >:)

I've used Rational Rose quite a bit for UML modelling, it isn't free but has great features.

I've used R.Rose and (ugh) Visio, too... but neither is multi-platform.

i've used Together, it's written entirely in java, so you get the pros (runs also on linux) and the cons (sorta slow sometimes)
