And there's no desktop on PocketPC :/

If you want to add short cut icons and other things to the Today screen then try searching Google.com for "iStatus" It's a $3 program that does what you want.

If you want to add short cuts to the Start\Programs section then you can add anything you want there with DEXplor, just copy it over to the Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder on your PocketPC or use DEXplor to create a shortcut and put it in that same folder.

This is off-topic, Moose, but I think it is kind of funny how you sort of are like a moderator. I mean, you spend the most time on PM and have been around for quite a while. Besides that, you are a Beta tester for various PM-based programs. You also are very easy on newbies (compared to, say, sponge) and try to help people out as much as possible. I think that this a good thing, but it sure wastes a lot of your time, being on the 'Net!
Die, Palm, Die. If that offended you, then get rid of your Palm OS device.

Thank you very much, that means a lot to me.

I've got a LOT of time to waste :/ especially when I've got a bio test and I want a reason to not study :P

I don't know how I missed the original post back in October, but as has been said, the Today screen ("desktop") of the Pocket PC has no such mechanism. So it is a limitation of the Today screen software.

I have been meaning for a while now to thank Moose for his contributions in the Quake forums. I simply do not have the time to visit those forum daily, and he quickly answers questions on a very regular basis.
