Your ppc only hard resets when the backup battery and main battery are dead.

I don't know for sure but I assume they would provide replacements, that would be very very bad public relations if they didnt, lots of angry people.

If you can't remove a battery, you can't replace it. I don't think one will be for sell.

But seriously I doubt you will use the same pocket pc for 2 years, what with the vga devices coming out over the next 2 years as well as hardware acceleration chips.
