Inconsistent NEW Images?

Here's one problem I seem to have sometimes.

In the forum index, it says there are new postings in a discussion. I see the NEW image.

When I go into the discussion, occasionally I don't see any NEW images. There are in fact new postings, and I am still logged in. The new postings just aren't marked as such.

Anyone else have this happen? It's happening to me right now.

They're marked by a yellow sticky note to the left of the thread.

Anything controlled by cookies will be messed up until ping pocketmatrix.com returns 216.40.216.132 on your side.

Ah OK, it's a DNS thing then.
