It's a delicate balance between refresh rate and events triggering ... you can try to tweak it a bit with the new
Smush_force_redraw configuration parameter, which means "force a Smush frame redraw every X missed frames". If you set it too low, stylus events won't be dispatched properly. If you set it too high, the action sequence won't be smooth.
