Bitmap fonts in PocketFrog

Are there some implementations around? Not a complex thing to implement, just curious if there any ready-made classes for drawing text using font from image.
I've frittered away my time, done nothing more important than design silly games for idle people...

There are 2 implementations, the VGAfont one fron Frank and the one by Gersen. Both use a bitmap containing the font. Also I showed how to use GDI fonts (ie: windows fonts) in one of my articles at www.sundialsoft.co.uk

Stopped for now with font class by Jason Chong. It works with same font image format as gapidraw does, so it is quite comfortable for me. The code needs to be extended of course but it's OK for me.
I've frittered away my time, done nothing more important than design silly games for idle people...

It probably isn't too important, since the OP asked specifically for a bitmap font, but the VGA fonts are actually *not* bitmaps... they are a byte array of piexel data... actually, that sounds alot like a bitmap :) It isn't though :)

Because it is a bitmap. Not the Windows BMP format, but definitely a bitmap.

Exactly... when people say bitmap they almost invariably mean BMP. VGA fonts are not that, but they are a map of bits, so... :)
