That just means that the memory address is different, probably because you freed up some memory

If my memory serves me right (and for some reason, I don't think it is right now) that is an access violation error. Actually, I am fairly possitive that it is an access violation error. It was either that, or a stack overflow (I don't feel like looking it up right now), but I am pretty sure that no matter how many times I got a stack overflow in the debugger, windows ce handled it just fine without ever giving a peep. So, you might ask what causes this. Well, often it will be found in the same place, or relatively the same place as a alignment error. It is also possible that, when changing the free program memory, that the data happens to align with the new mem config. But, it probably won't align the next time through, so you shouldn't spend a long time playing with the memory settings hoping to get it to work.

Just a little pointless update... I now can get past the blue rating screen and onto the "demo, spear of destiny" title screen then I get, this error after a couple seconds.

I found a way to make it through it though it still crashes...... try epods.... then try porting it to epods and then you can run it on the be-300 :lol:

As far as I know, they have given their o.k. Rember T1 wrote to them a little while back (this was after dan's first letter) and they said it was perfectly legal. Basicly, they claimed that they really did not care.

actually Dan posted awhile back that it had nothing to do with that, he said he was simply busy and would hope to finish the port this ummer.

Hello everyone, I was able to get Pocketwolf, to this point, but then ran out of room on the Pocket Manager BE 300. I think if Dan sees this he might be encouraged to try to take it further. I believe it may be possible to get it past this point. I have talked with other developers to "shrink thier programs" if possible to get it past the 4 meg limit Casio threw on this pda.
I am moderator for a forum, and these are the companies that have written software for the be. Well at least they gave me permission to allow thier software to work on the be. Alot of do not use Pc connect, but use Active sync to install thier programs.

So with the right people and the right "pr" it is possible to make software work on the BE.

To dan. I would bet my bottom dollar if you could get this to work, I know of at least 100 be users who would be more than happy to pay you for your time.

Actually, I just picked up a BE-300 a couple days ago (for our medical software). I already have DEXplor and all plugins running fine on that device, and should release it within a week or so.

A Wolf build will probably follow along shortly...
