4.2 is correct, and you'd also have Windows Media Player 9 on your device.

I think the apps like Calendar and Tasks have grey background patterns to make it look fancier.

You could also hard reset the device to find out

The Bliss background is standard on most new devices (at least it's on the 3900 w/ EUU3)

Dell has a custom Cleartype app in there.
