Multiprocessing Arm with Vector Floating Piont

Postby Jadam » Oct 21, 2003 @ 9:25pm

umm palms up until now have been 16mhz-33mhz

now they are 144+mhz

secondly, Palm OS 5 kinda limits 3D games GREATLY do to its LACK of support for FULL ARM APPLICATIONS, the zodiac on the other hand does support FULL ARM APPLICATIONS due to a custom build of Palm OS.

PSX had few 3D games IF ANY when it came out, didnt stop people from making 3D games for it now did it?

Palms have been around a while so you can't blame the fact that they don't have 3d games on the fact that its new. Also there is the fact that Palm OS 5 not making 3d game making easy is a good example of how Palms were not made for it.

When batteries are involved, Moore's Law is moot. It's also slowing due to non-technological things, such as heatsinks and fans not being able to cool faster processors.
