Jadam is right. Today's PPC layout sucks for gaming in 3D. I don't need 3D on a PPC even on a gameboy 3D games (a la Half-Life) would suck.

I highly doubt that video card makers will come out with a 3D card for these devices. It's a productivity device and not a gameboy.

NVIDIA and ATI have been working on mobile 3D chips for atleast three years now.
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

The PC was supposed to be a productivity device way back when. Look where that has us now. Its not like you need a 400 mhz processor for much of anything "productive".

3d graphics are not always used in games that are 3 dimensional in gameplay. Think of the Contra game for PS2 or any of the side scrolling jet shooting games on the new systems.

I don't see why it should be too hard for nvidia to take, say, a Riva 128, fix a few glaring bugs and shrink it down to a .13u die size.
