BACKUP battery life

When you main batt. is down, the backup batt. keeps the ram alive. But when it goes down, it makes a hard reset right?
But that little backup batt. is rechargeable too?
I'll take the MyPal A620 as example.

Just keeping the ram alive doesn't take much energy, so you were right, it's very rare.
