My idea was simple: find PDAs that are close in size to the Asus A620, then find a hard case for that PDA.
Asus A620 = 125mm x 76.8mm x 13.3mm
The Dell X5 is really close: 128 x 81.5 x 18 mm
So a little longer, ~5mm wider and ~5mm deeper.
However, the Dell is tapered at the bottom, as you can see in this picture of a X5 in a nice hard aluminum case:

Compared to the A620, which is rather rectanglish:

But the A620 is a whole 5mm narrower, and a little shorter, so is that enough to make up for that tapered X5 bottom? Anyone know exactly how wide the bottom of the X5 is?
