WinCE 2.0 work on PocketPC?

Most WinCE 2.0 programs will run on a PocketPC device--providing that the processor type is a match. As an iPAQ owner, I'm locked out of a lot of 2.X programs because I run the StrongARM, and the only device before the PocketPC on this processor was one of the Handheld PCs. I can run its programs, though. In fact, I'm planning on loading the H/PC Paint on my device as soon as I get home tonight.
