problem with the internet and battery question

Postby inc » Oct 13, 2001 @ 4:29am

I don't know what happened but right now I can no longer use the itnernet but before i could. everytime my hp jornada syncs with my pc then i can use the internet but now i cant. can anyone help me please, I've read the booklet and stuff still useless.

Also, it's best that you discharge your battery before recharing because or else the battery life dies out very quickly. But is it true for lithium-polymer cause I never heard of that before. Also, if you do need to discharge fully, how can I do it? leave it on till it says low battery then recharge?

For Lithium Polymer batteries I have read that it is best for the life of the battery if it is recharged BEFORE it ever reaches 50% power.

As Jong said, it's better to keep it charged always. If you can, never let it get low on charge. The life span of the battery grows dramatically if you always do that.

Sounds like a problem with ActiveSync. I've never had any problems with it though, so I wouldn't be the one to ask..

Let me get this strait. You are connecting to the internet from your pocket PC through activesync to your PC. If that is the case then try reinstalling activesync. But before you do that make sure that Outlook 2000 is installed as activesync will not work properly without it. If both of those suggestions don't work try looking at the registry.

Is it possible that you're using ActiveSync
< 3.1 ???

(But it's right, charge your batterie as often
as you can. It's written that your batterie
lives (max) 3 weeks till it dies!)

We (me, brother, ...) did this with our mobile
phones...never charged it often....it's the third
bettery pack!!!!

Lx
