The Best Released Pocket PC game of all time!

Awards really are the easiest way to cause major aggravation, as Pocket PC Magazine found out recently. So, c'mon PM, what are you waiting for...?

I would think any aggravation could be avoided, by allowing all awards to be nominated and voted on exclusively by users, and not by lone "expert" judges (or reviewers ).

I am not adverse to having a 'People's Choice' type award thingy happen...

People's choice is an okay measure, and certainly sells more games. But I think Nutcracker is among THE best games available for PocketPC, its just too bad he doesn't have the marketing (or the budget). so very few people have even heard of it, or played it.

Snails is still basically an independant game, with Syntact as the major backer and negotiator. It's very difficult for us to compete in a market with Zio and their huge budgets. But we are now #2 (in SALES, not Downloaded demos) on Handango, just behind SimCity2k.

So I guess the people like us. But how do the developers percieve us? Thats why I would want an awards comprised soley of other developers. Not reviewers, or webmasters of huge sites.

sure, it's beta, really simple, and all that, but it's free, better than kyle's quest (in many respects), and...I'm a total addict.

I don't really have much else, because my ppc is slow and i don't have the money to just buy games willy-nilly right now
