Why is my connection to my PPC so slow?!

Why is my connection to my PPC so slow?!

Postby T3_Racer » May 13, 2002 @ 5:11am

This is starting to annoy me, I have an IPAQ 3850, connected to my computer by USB 1.x, and it still takes me over an hour to send 32 megs of mp3's!

Whats wrong?? I can't figure it out, if someone could try to help me that'd be great.
I wanted all things
To seem to make some sense,
So we all could be happy, yes,
Instead of tense.
And I made up lies
So that they fit nice,
And I made this sad world
A par-a-dise.

If you are running your unit through a USB hub you could loose a lot of speed. I always keep my PPC connected to the USB on my MoBo or off of my USB PCI card.

start activesync app or on your PDA, go to tools, then options

Where it says Enable synchronization when cradled using, select `USB

Yea, that's already selected, it was the first thing I checked when I noticed the problem. Anyone have any other ideas??

Two cupcakes were in an oven. One turned to the other and said "Damn, it sure is hot in here" and the other one said "HOLY SHIT! A TALKING CUPCAKE!"

T3_Racer - do you know the 'Valve' link in your signature is wrong? It should point to http://www.valvesoftware.com/ (it currently points to http://www.valve.com/)
