Actually, I have been sitting back for a while, reading this crap and can't come to a single reason why this has reached 8 pages.
As far as I know, most of the betas that Ionsuck released were Mips. Mips doesn't make up shit for sales nowadays, and SH3 is even less. Info from Snails, DEX and a few others support the fact that Mips is not a huge factor. So what is this bitch-fest about again?
This was a Beta. I don't think Moose or Eike had a beta more current than the one I had. Thats like 7 months old. Anyone who downloads the beta KNOWS its a beta and KNOWS the final is going to be much beter. If the game hasn't greatly improved in 7 months, then you guys suck and should start look toward Palm. So what was this bitch-fest about again?
If the beta was more recent than that, then who gave it to Eike in the first place?
Consider this the demo you guys failed to release. People want more, and someone finally took action. Something Ionsuck couldn't do in the year the project has been around- release it to the public. So what was this bitch-fest about again?
CRAP is suing who? For what? Are you really that stupid, or did you have to go to college to learn to be a useless dork. How much were you paid again, yet Lomax had to forgo his share and Jason hasn't seen a dime to my knowledge. How much has Shervin and Fedrick recieved? Isn't that stealing? So what was this bitch-fest about again?
So far, the entire appeal of AG is Lomax' brilliant graphics and Fredricks voxel terrain. This was Jasons first gaming project, so it was pretty good compared to the stuff he's doing nowadays. CRAP was too busy visiting Romero and taking vacations to actually do anything useful. So what was this bitch-fest about again?
Shapeshifter (Eike to REAL people) had a Snails beta long before I joined. He was current up to the end of the project. Everyone on the team would bicker and fight (like all families do), and we'd even take it out on Eike. Yet he never distributed our game. If there is a single person out there that has more betas than anyone else, it's Eike. Did he screw up? I dunno- if he feels bad about it then I guess it was wrong. Believe me, this kid feels more deeply than anyone I ever met. So what was this bitch-fest about again?
Moose- I hate him and its no secret. I suspect he has an illegal copy of Snails, as well as every other software under the sun. But why is everyone so angry at him? Is it because your little puddy feewings are hurt, because you trusted him? I've noticed that hatred tends to shift awefully quickly around here, from Chuck, to Moose to Eike. I really like Chuck and Eike, so I am going to have to side with Moose as well, no matter how wrong it may be because:
Which one of you fags out there can claim you've never participated in WAREZ? I don't care how old you were or what the circumstances were- it's wrong. If you think this circumstance is worse simply because you personally know Moose, Chuck and Eike, then you are a rare breed of stupidity. The truth is that it simply hurts more- get over it. Here's a fucking clue CRAP: YOU distributed the beta to everyone under the sun, you have no recourse of action, you fucking deal with it. So what was this bitch-fest about again?
I don't condone WAREZ- I have a game out there to protect. But I won't pretend to be self-righteous and suddenly become an anti-WAREZ fanatic. I probably still have some illegal stuff on my computer[s]. So I'll continue to protect my game, thus paying for my past mistakes FOREVER. It sucks.
The people I feel sorry for are Lomax, who continually gets shit upon every time he turns around (quit turning around). Fredrick, who is a genuinely nice guy, even when he doesn't have to be. And Jason, who gets 1% from the proceeds of the game. This percentage would have been lower, but CRAP couldn't do the complex math (ask Moose how to divide by zero). Sorry if I announced a number I shouldn't have Jason, but from your last three projects you got paid MUCH more because the project managers know your worth.

.. i wasnt sure how much faster mips was to sh3... but it might still be playable on sh3.. or am i dreaming? heheh
